Ogbonna is a well-trained Health Economist, Medical Sales Expert, and Primary Healthcare Management Enthusiast with more than 5 years of professional experience spanning healthcare management, stakeholder engagement, operations management, people management, inventory control, vendor management, product positioning, product visibility, employee development, and risk management.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maiduguri in 2013 and a Certification in Biomedical Engineering from the School of Biomedical Engineering, Maiduguri in 2014.His quest for knowledge and personal development has spurred him to pursue a Master’s degree in Health Economics from – Bayero University Kano.

Ogbonna is committed to contributing to the improvement of primary health care in Nigeria. He has a passion to improve the health status of the least advantaged and underserved, particularly women, children and the poor through the delivery of basic healthcare services.

Ogbonna currently serves as a Board Member of Primary Health Care Africa – a company he co-founded with the aim and mission to advocate for the health of Nigerians, strengthen the capacity of health sector organizations, enlighten Nigerians on good health habits and practices, and engage and support the government and other partners to formulate and implement positive and effective health policies.

He believes strengthening healthcare service delivery is crucial to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 3; to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages, including the delivery of interventions to reduce child mortality, maternal mortality and the burden of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

He has participated in several training including the Environmental Public Health Training organized at Bayero University.

Ogbonna is a significant contributor to the community and he believes in making a difference in every situation placed in his path.
