Adebukola, Shittu-Muideen is a change agent in the public healthcare space. Her goal is to see every Nigerian having access to equitable, affordable and quality healthcare services and thus guaranteeing the attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
She has over twelve years’ experience in health insurance administration, quality improvement implementation at both governance and facility levels and a very strong advocacy strength in driving the clarion call for UHC in Nigeria and beyond among relevant stakeholders at all levels.
She has worked on several projects that target implementation of State health insurance schemes, maternal and child health projects and also with the Joint Learning Network on UHC as a technical working group member in Nigeria that supports building the capacity of the legislative arm of government towards attaining UHC in Nigeria.
Adebukola believes that within challenges always lie great opportunities; thus leveraging on digital technology will go a long way in improving the delivery of quality healthcare services across Nigeria and beyond.Her professional background has imbibed her in team management skills, relationship building competency, communications skills and interpersonal skill. She obtained her MB; BS and Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She is also a fellow of International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) and has a certification in marketing from University of Cape Town, South Africa.
